Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP) is organizing an International Conference on High Energy Particle & Astroparticle Physics (ICHEPAP2023) at SINP from December 11, 2023 to December 15, 2023. We plan to hold the meeting in person, however, we keep open the possibility to switch to hybrid mode if required.
The aim of the conference is to review recent progress in particle and astroparticle physics with particular emphasis on their inter-relations and big data analysis. We foresee this conference to be the first of a series, bringing together theorists and experimentalists from different areas of particle physics and astroparticle physics on a common platform to exchange ideas and start joint collaborative research in future.
The format of the conference is as follows: we will have several plenary talks (40+5 mins) spread over several sessions. Additionally, we also plan to have parallel sessions with both invited (25+5 mins) and contributory (15+5 mins) talks, grouped into collider and non-collider physics. We encourage young postdocs and senior PhD students to apply for talks in the parallel sessions. There will also be poster sessions where we encourage PhD students to apply for contributions. Preference will be given to students who have at least 1 publication in a reputed journal or have completed a major task in an experimental field. The maximum number of participants can be 90.
